Angela Drewniak, RN, MSN, ACNP-BC

Angela Drewniak is a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner based in Maryland. She has been in the nursing profession for over 17 years and has intensive medical-surgical training as well as acute care and critical care experience. Angela completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Simmons College in Boston, MA, and her master’s degree in nursing with an acute care specialty at the University of Texas in Houston, TX.

Angela is currently focusing on the treatment/management of chronic pain in patients with an array of medical issues with the use of opioid medications and medical cannabis. The goal of pain management is to keep people active as much as possible, even with their chronic pains. Angela is also a medical cannabis provider and is ACLS and BLS trained.

Angela believes that nursing care should be patient centered. Her many years of experience have led her to become a wealth of knowledge for her patients. Her goal is for her patients to be proactive with their care, making them set their own goals and, hopefully, achieve them.
