Alternative Text

Tara Bzdok is a registered dietitian and a board-certified specialist in renal nutrition. She is passionate about helping people prevent chronic disease and live longer, healthier lives by moderating intake of processed sweeteners and chemicals, incorporating fasting into modern life, and learning to eat whole, fresh, life-giving foods.

Tara has been running a small private practice in Texas since 2012, wherein she routinely educates, counsels, and supports patients with chronic illnesses and those with a desire to reduce risk factors. She provides medical nutrition therapy to high-risk residents of long-term care facilities, including patients with end-stage renal disease on dialysis.

Tara’s extensive work with patients with diabetes entailed educating them on carbohydrate counting and good nutrition for managing their condition. She has even developed lesson plans and taught nutrition classes to low-income residents, which exemplifies her inherent “Good Samaritan.”

She has learned that in order to make a larger impact on public health and disease prevention, she must shift the focus of her business to disseminating evidence-based nutrition information via the Internet. Tara has just begun her new online business model and has plans to release videos outlining her vast knowledge of the dietary recommendations for patients with chronic kidney disease, hypertension, and diabetes. Tara has also used her years of experience in the field of nutrition and dietetics to author, edit, and blog various health-related articles as well as develop, test, and photograph recipes.
