Noemy Jorge, MS, RD, CDN

Noemy Jorge is a passionate licensed registered dietitian and certified dietitian nutritionist. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in dietetics, food, and nutrition and a master’s degree in nutrition from Herbert H. Lehman College in Bronx, NY. She completed her dietetic internship at the Puerto Rico Department of Health in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Noemy currently works as a clinical nutrition manager at the New York Eye & Ear (NYEE) Infirmary of Mount Sinai, where she provides clinical nutritional support to postoperative patients in the in-patient unit. She also supervises food service staff, manages inventory, and ensures food safety guidelines are met.

She is trained to assess and obtain proper anthropometric measurements for infants, children, and adults as well as perform fingerstick hemoglobin testing. Noemy also provides community nutrition services through various nonprofit organizations in NYC.

Noemy has spoken at the US Professional Association for Transgender Health (PATH) 2019 Scientific Symposium in Washington, D.C., alongside her interdisciplinary team. She has also spoken at the Morrison Healthcare Clinical Nutrition Symposium in 2020 in Oklahoma City.

Noemy is Dominican American and is fluent in both French and Spanish.
