Abby Black, RDN, CDCES, CLT, EP-C

Abby Black is a registered dietitian nutritionist and certified exercise physiologist for over 17 years. Since middle school, she has been interested in health, and so she pursued her dream of becoming a dietitian nutritionist at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, where she obtained a double major in nutrition and dietetics and in nutrition, fitness, and health.

Having a strong family history and the desire to help clients, Abby invested time to become a certified diabetes care education specialist. She also obtained training in food sensitivities and became a certified LEAP (lifestyle, eating, and performance) therapist.

Abby has worked in both community and clinical settings and is now in private practice at AB Nutrition Solutions, which she owns. She specializes in diabetes management, eating disorder recovery, food sensitivity testing, and meal planning to reduce inflammation. Abby enjoys helping clients get to the root cause of their issues to improve their health through foods and activity.

Abby is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, American Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists, American College of Sports Medicine, and Southwest Michigan Eating Disorders Association.
