Nivedita Jha, MBBS

Dr. Nivedita Jha is a medical doctor who obtained a bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery degree from the Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences in Karnataka, India. She completed her internship at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in New Delhi.

Dr. Jha worked as a temporary junior resident at Polaris Hospital and at Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute in India. Her duties included obtaining accurate patient history and performing physical examinations to recognize neurological disorders requiring outpatient, inpatient, and emergency care. She also served as a medical officer on duty when required in the emergency, RICU, inpatient, and outpatient departments.

Dr. Jha then pursued a career in the United States and has since completed medical observerships in nephrology, cardiology, and gastroenterology from the University of Vermont, University of Kentucky, and Memorial Hermann Hospital, respectively. She has also completed an externship in internal medicine at Titus Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Jha is proficient in both English and Hindi. In her free time, she enjoys jogging, going to the gym, listening to music, and traveling.
