  6. Leave the quinoa water on your hair for 30 minutes.
  7. Rinse your hair thoroughly with lukewarm water.
  8. Shampoo and condition your hair as usual.

  4. In a separate bowl, add 1 cup of water and ½ cup of rice. Let it soak for at least 30 minutes or up to 24 hours.
  5. Strain the rice through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl. The resulting liquid is your rice water.
  6. Combine equal parts quinoa water and rice water in a spray bottle or bowl.
  7. Use the mixture as a hair rinse after shampooing and conditioning your hair. Apply the mixture to your hair and scalp, making sure to saturate your hair completely.
  8. Massage the mixture into your scalp for a few minutes. Leave the mixture on your hair for 5–10 minutes.
  9. Rinse your hair thoroughly with cool water and style your hair as usual.

  1. Rinse quinoa thoroughly in cold water to remove any dirt or impurities.
  2. Soak ½ cup of quinoa in 2 cups of water for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
  3. After soaking, strain the quinoa and reserve the water.
