Dr. Wanessa Figueiredo Matos is a pulmonologist with over a decade of experience in respiratory pathologies. She obtained her medical degree from the State University of Para Medical School in Belem, Brazil, and completed her residency in internal medicine at the Hospital of the State Server of São Paulo in São Paulo, Brazil. She completed another residency in pulmonology and tisiology at João de Barros Barreto University Hospital in Belem, Brazil.
Dr. Matos is an expert in advanced pulmonary procedures including bronchoscopy. She specializes in pulmonary disease and interventional pulmonology (adult and pediatric), oncology, and infectious diseases, especially respiratory diseases in HIV patients.
