Shivank Singh

Shivank Singh is a medical student enjoying a scholarship at Southern Medical University in Guangzhou, China. At the university, he is the leader of Grads Research Group under the supervision of a molecular biology professor and physician. In 2019, he participated in the Free Basic Health Checkup Camp set up by Maoming People’s Hospital by checking patients. In December 2020, Shivank cleared the Foreign Medical Graduate Exam in India.

Shivank devotes a lot of his time and effort to both understanding and contributing to the medical field in terms of new research and case analyses. One of his recent publications is entitled “Efficacy and safety of opioids in treating cancer-related dyspnea: A systematic review and meta-analysis based on randomized controlled trials.” He has appeared on South China Morning Post and Life of Guangzhou for a brief interview.

Shivank has extensively traveled to several countries in Asia, including Nepal and Inner Mongolia, and has experienced a wide variety of cultures and cuisines. He enjoys yoga, hiking, trekking, mountaineering, horse riding, swimming, and learning new languages. He is fluent in Hindi and English and is currently learning Russian, Spanish, and Mandarin.
