Rosalind Jordan, FNP-C

Alternative Text

Rosalind Jordan is a nurse practitioner currently based in Saint Petersburg, FL. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in nursing in 1998 from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in Tallahassee, FL, and then completed a master’s degree in nursing with a specialization in family nurse practitioner in 2013 from South University in Tampa, FL.

Although Rosalind’s role as a family nurse practitioner only started after she completed her master’s degree, the roots of her medical career go further back. Her first break was as a patient care technician while completing her undergraduate degree. Ever since, she has worked in a multitude of medical settings including medical/surgical, progressive care, cardiology, and correctional units.

With a career in family nursing practice spanning almost a decade and replete with broad-spectrum nursing expertise, Rosalind has mastered the art of “holistic healing.” She abides by the principles of integrative medicine, using both traditional and alternative natural remedies to treat the patient on emotional, physical, and spiritual levels, rather than just targeting the ailment. Rosalind believes that sustainable well-being requires that patients take ownership of their health. Her approach, thus, is to actively involve her patients in ensuring their health by working with them as partners, rather than working on them as patients.
