Robert Williams, MD

Alternative Text

Dr. Williams’ passion for practicing medicine started when he was a personal assistant to Dr. C. Everett Koop during his college career at Dartmouth College. During this time, Dr. Williams assisted Dr. Koop in his mission to connect rural physicians to the internet so that they could have the resources and up to date clinical knowledge to practice and perform at the same level as their urban counterparts.

Dr. Williams followed his passion by going to medical school and subsequently specializing in Family Medicine with further sub-specialization in Geriatric Medicine and Palliative Care/Pain Management.

As this is an extremely rare accomplishment for primary care physicians, Dr. Williams has been able to be a physician leader in multiple areas, including Medical Director of Nursing Facilities, Medical Director of Palliative Consultative Services, Medical Director of hospices, and Medical Director of Clinical Research.

Dr. Williams also started a Patient Advocacy company to utilize his vast knowledge of the healthcare industry to solve complex problems of patients on an individual level while they navigate various obstacles.

Patient advocacy is Dr. Williams’s true passion in an era where medicine has become overwhelmingly complex not just to the lay public, but to healthcare professionals as well.
