Alternative Text

Dr. Rhonda Madeline Kavee obtained a bachelor’s degree from the Johns Hopkins University and a doctorate from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine. She completed a pediatric dental residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. She is board certified and has had further training with a fellowship in hospital pediatric dentistry, childhood development, business administration in healthcare, and biomedical engineering. She has accumulated over 15 years of postgraduate education.

Dr. Kavee is a diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and a fellow of the American Association of Pediatrics.

Dr. Kavee’s practice in pediatric dentistry incorporates her beliefs that all children and families are unique – that there is never just one way to treat a problem and that the family must be comfortable with both the process and outcome of the treatment.

For her, prevention should be the emphasis on all treatment, and it is a partnership between the practice and the family. Parents should be made to understand what and why a specific treatment is being recommended. All treatment should be comprehensive, and oral health cannot be separated from overall health.
