Rami Makhoul, MD, FACS, FASCRS

Dr. Makhoul graduated from the American University of Beirut in Lebanon in 2001 and went on to complete his medical degree from the University of Balamand in 2005 in Lebanon. He pursued his residency training in general surgery at the George Washington University in DC and fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School-Rutgers University.

Dr. Makhoul started practicing colon and rectal surgery in 2014 with Metro Colon and Rectal Surgery PC and was appointed a clinical instructor at the George Washington University.  Most recently, he got appointed Vice Chairman of Surgery at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD, and Cancer Liaison Physician for their Cancer Center.
