Nida Badar, MD

Dr. Nida Badar is a board-certified pediatrician. She graduated from a foreign medical school and started her residency in 2016 at Advocate Christ Medical Center.

From 2014 to 2019, she worked as a teacher’s assistant for Becker Professional Education, where she helped various professors in the classroom and tutored students in subjects such as biochemistry and pathology. She also taught lipid metabolism for biochemistry and congenital heart diseases for pathology and helped build questionnaires and practice tests. During this period, she also completed externships in general pediatrics and internal medicine from various clinical and hospital settings.

In 2019, she completed her pediatric residency at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois. While studying for the board exams, she worked for 2 months as a pediatric consultant for a telemedicine company in Texas.

Later in 2019, Dr. Badar became a licensed physician in Illinois and Texas. She then practiced as a general pediatric hospitalist at NorthShore Children’s Hospital in Illinois. Her primary role was as a rounding physician, taking on admissions that came in from the ER, treating the patients, and then discharging them accordingly.
