Dr. Patel is a physician who is triple board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, and Critical Care Medicine. He has expertise in respiratory disease including advanced pulmonary procedures including Bronchoscopy. His grandmother, who was a nurse, deeply inspired him to pursue a career in medicine. Growing up, he always felt there was no better reward than helping other people and bringing a smile to their faces. He felt pursuing a career in medicine would give him the best opportunity to serve the community.

He attended B.J. Medical College, Ahmadabad which is one of the best medical schools in India. He pursued further medical training for Internal Medicine at the Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education. He then completed a further specialization in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at State University of New York Upstate Medical University.
