Michael Oswald, MD

Dr. Oswald is board certified in Ophthalmology and has been in private practice as a comprehensive ophthalmologist for 20 years. He treats medical and surgical diseases of the eye with special emphasis on cataract surgery.

Dr. Oswald was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and completed medical school at LSU Medical center in New Orleans. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and has been in private practice since then.

He is currently in practice in western North Carolina. Dr. Oswald is a fellow of the American Board of Ophthalmology and is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

In his spare time, Dr. Oswald enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, traveling, and amateur astronomy.
