Read moreDr. Megan Melo is a board-certified physician in family medicine and obesity medicine with more than a decade of experience. Her clinical interests are obstetrics, pregnancy termination, contraception, weight management, caregiver burden, nutrition, and whole-body wellness. Her special clinical skills include surgical and medical pregnancy terminations and colposcopy, among others.
Dr. Melo obtained a bachelor’s degree in biology and English from Case Western Reserve University and earned her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. She then completed the Group Health Family Medicine Residency, now known as the Kaiser Health Plan of Washington Family Medicine Residency, in Seattle, WA.
Dr. Melo was the former medical director and owner of All Women’s Health Tacoma, where she currently provides pregnancy termination services. Moreover, she is a certified life coach through the Life Coach School; a certified Daring Way™ facilitator, based on the work of Brené Brown; and a Balint instructor. Dr. Melo established Healthier For Good PLLC with a mission to help women physicians and other professionals get out of burnout and build a happier, healthier life for themselves, including reversing stress-related weight gain. Dr. Melo lives with her husband and two children in Seattle, Washington. She loves playing board games, cooking, and taking long walks by herself or with friends.
