Maryam Beheshti, MD, FACOG

Dr. Maryam Beheshti is a dedicated obstetrician and gynecologist who has been caring for patients in Tucson, Arizona, for the past 20 years. She is experienced in laparoscopic and robotic surgery and performs both regularly. She obtained her medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio, and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology from Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Beheshti especially values her relationships with her patients. She believes that communication and patient education are the basis of the patient-physician relationship. She enjoys the time she spends with her obstetric patients and loves meeting their babies. It also helps that Dr. Beheshti is fluent in Spanish.

As a physician and the head of digital marketing for Genesis Ob/Gyn, she works to increase opportunities for communication and patient education. Her responsibilities include marketing, website revitalization, and writing. Dr. Beheshti writes regularly and enjoys covering topics such as women’s health, medical issues, and medical technology.

Dr. Beheshti is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
