Dr. Marilyn Blackston was born and raised in the Baltimore, MD area and is a graduate of Brown University and the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
She is boarded as an Otolaryngologist-Head and Neck Surgeon. Dr. Blackston received certification as a Wellness Coach and an Emotional Freedom Technique Practitioner.
She is a proponent of holistic healing, which focusses on all aspects of an individual’s wellbeing: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Dr. Blackston pushes her patients to become their fittest best through a combination of healthy eating, exercise, and stress management techniques.
Her area of expertise is assisting middle-aged professional women in embracing a permanently healthy lifestyle to the point that they naturally lose weight, and their physicians discontinue prescribed medications.
