She earned her Masters of Science in Human Nutrition and completed her dietetic internship at Texas State University in San Marcos, and has been helping people feel their best through the power of food ever since.
As a co-founder of Mama Thrived Nutrition, she and her partner focus on helping new mothers and their babies find optimal nutrition for breastfeeding, postpartum recovery, and introducing first foods and solids. She is motivated to help mothers navigate this important chapter in life and to see the results of nourishing themselves and their children.

Before starting a private practice, she worked as an outpatient clinical dietitian, helping individuals to meet their health and wellness goals with her nutrition counseling, education, and advice. She has also worked in hospital and long-term care settings, helping patients heal through more acute nutrition therapy.
Laura currently resides in Austin, Texas with her husband, daughter, and two furry pups. She enjoys cooking, reading, and outdoor activities with her family.
