She received her bachelor’s degree in nutrition at Benedictine University in Lisle, IL, and completed her dietetic internship at Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor, Michigan. After completing her internship, Kristin worked as a pediatric dietitian in the nephrology department of CS Mott’s Children’s Hospital for 4 years before deciding to move back to Illinois to be closer to her family.
Kristin firmly believes that diet and lifestyle are key drivers in a person’s quest for health and that food should be utilized as nature’s medicine. She is an advocate of functional nutrition and assessment of each person as a whole to get to the root cause of the issues at hand. She recently received a health coaching certification from the Institute of Transformational Nutrition.
