Kathleen Putnam, MS, RDN, CDN

Kathleen is a Master’s prepared dietitian, wellness and lifestyle coach. Kathleen runs a successful private coaching practice of over 15 years and has served hundreds of patients.

She provides lifestyle counseling and health expertise to clients using data, nutrigenomics, and motivational interviewing to optimize consumer health and wellness.

Currently, Kathleen is a coach in private practice, an online diabetes lifestyle coach, and associate faculty in higher education teaching nutrition and human development. She has contributed to publications, provided professional talks and training, and enjoys mentoring nutrition graduates. 

She serves as Associate Professor of Nutrition in multiple higher education institutions in Seattle and is a clinic supervisor for graduate nutrition students at Bastyr Natural Health clinic. 

She co-founded a nutrition bar under the name “Zing” and worked as a trainer with the Dean Ornish Program for reversing heart disease and a provider with Laurel Mellin coaching using the EBT (Emotional Brain Training) program out of UCSF to end stress eating.

She loves to find creative and effective ways utilizing the latest in behavior sciences to make desired changes that work for each individual. Kathleen is always taking a class and advancing her professional skill set and is thrilled to share all she learns with clients and students alike.

Currently, Kathleen is training as a life and grief coach and death doula. In her downtime, Kathleen cheers her teenage daughter at volleyball tournaments and spends as much time as possible with friends and family.
