Jenna Sager is an integrative registered dietitian-nutritionist who is passionate about preventive health, aging research, the advancement of nutrigenomics/epigenetics, precision nutrition/medicine, and helping people to thrive in all areas of their life. She is interested in elucidating the mechanisms of metabolic dysfunction and adiposity, reversing the epidemic of preventable disease, and advancing hyper-personalized methodologies in practice (using genetic tools and bioinformatics). She serves as a scientific advisor and consultant for various supplement and wellness companies.
Jenna obtained a bachelor’s degree in nutrition science and a master’s degree in nutrition and metabolism from the Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her dietetic internship at the University of Houston and subsequently became a registered dietitian.
Jenna integrates her extensive research experience with her clinical experience when providing one-on-one consulting, where she uses a systems/network biology approach. She teaches her clients to use food in synergism with other behaviors as an avenue to optimize their cellular physiology rather than in a way that is detrimental to them.
