Heather Zeman, MS, RDN, LDN

Heather Zeman is a registered dietitian nutritionist who aims to promote health through a personalized, patient-centered approach to nutrition education and lifestyle change.

Heather earned a bachelor’s degree in pre-med biology from Providence College, where she graduated magna cum laude. She obtained a certification in sports nutrition in 2017, a master’s degree in nutrition and health promotion in 2019, and a dietetic internship in 2020 all from Simmon’s University in Boston, MA.

Heather currently works as a clinical dietitian in long-term care, and she provides one-on-one nutrition counseling for weight loss, digestive disorders, and disease management through her practice, Well-Traveled Health. She also provides consultant-based work, including sports nutrition seminars and workplace wellness presentations. She inspires her clients to prioritize health through nutrition, fitness, and lifestyle wellness practices.

Heather is also currently a clinical dietitian at Hebrew SeniorLife at NewBridge on the Charles, a modern, luxury senior living community at Dedham, MA. Her roles include assessing nutritional needs, determining clinical goals, and implementing nutritional care plans for patients.

Heather recently obtained an Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certificate of Training from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice Certificate from the Institute for Functional Medicine. She is active in research, has made several presentations over the years, and writes content and blogs. Her most recent work was a case study titled “Nutrition Considerations in the COVID-19 Patient.”
