Estella F. Martinez, MD, MPH

Alternative Text

Dr. Martinez has been a family medicine physician since 2006. Her inclination towards science and passion for helping people drew her towards the medical profession. As she began seeing patients early in her career, she noticed a great number of chronic diseases, especially in young patients, that could easily have been prevented. Due to this realization, she continued her studies in bariatric and functional medicine in order to better serve her patients.

She concerns herself with treating the “root cause” of the disease rather than just the symptoms. She is an avid proponent of prevention and wellness measures through lifestyle changes and supplements before starting medications in her patients.

Dr. Martinez has rendered her services to a wide variety of patients from newborn to geriatric, diagnosing, and treating a mix of conditions from acute to complex chronic cases.

Dr. Martinez is board-certified in both bariatric medicine and family medicine. She currently works in a multi-specialty organization where she has helped hundreds of patients prevent or reverse chronic conditions.
