Diana Gavilanes, MD

Dr. Diana Gavilanes is a medical physician who earned her medical degree from Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador with vast experience in health quality and reproductive health. She completed her externship from Prime Rheumatology in Pearland, Texas, and has multiple certificates on COVID-19 and health prevention from Stanford University.

Dr. Gavilanes is presently co-authoring various case presentations in rheumatology. She has served as an English interpreter in various organizations such as the Range of Motion Project (ROMP) and CEMOPLAF. She has worked in a nonbenefit organization in the Ecuadorian jungle, and is currently volunteering for VITAS and IBNsina.

Dr. Gavilanes is fluent in English and Spanish and is learning American sign language. In her free time, she likes to read about philosophy, camping, and climbing.
