Cristiana A. Mengarelli, MS, RDN, LDN

Cristiana is a registered dietitian nutritionist with an interest in world health. She completed a bachelor’s degree in global leadership and a master’s degree in dietetics and nutrition.

Cristiana is Brazilian, has lived in three continents, and communicates fluently in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian. Thus, her main experience is nutrition education for all age and cultural populations.

Cristiana is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND). Her background includes recipe and course development, administration of grant funds, nutrition education for children and older adults, food safety procedures, scientific research, and individualized nutrition assessments.

Cristiana holds the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification, Identifying and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect Certification, and Citi Program Human Subjects Research Certification. She also completed NIH’s Protecting Human Research Participants training course.

Cristiana believes that balance along with hard work fueled by passion is key to any kind of success. Optimal nutrition is no exception to this vision, and it is one of the most rewarding elements to control. It provides lifelong physical, cognitive, and emotional benefits. Thus, she believes that striving to achieve optimal nutrition is worth the effort and that it is never too late to start.
