Dr. Brandon Hedgecock is a dentist, lecturer, coach, and consultant. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Texas and a doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
Dr. Hedgecock is the owner and president of Hedgecock Dental, a general dentistry practice that provides quality dental care for families with an emphasis on prevention. His services include sedation, short-term orthodontics, implant restorations, cosmetic dentistry, general and restorative dentistry, and surgery.
Dr. Hedgecock has had family members diagnosed with sleep apnea, inspiring him to become a sleep dentist. He is the owner of Sleep Better Austin, a dental sleep medicine practice that provides oral appliance therapy for patients diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea. He educates and screens patients for sleep disorders and breathing inefficiencies.
Not only does Dr. Hedgecock genuinely want to help his patients, but he is passionate about helping other dentists nationwide to learn and implement sleep dentistry in their own practice. He owns Austin Sleep Solutions, a sleep screening and management business helping physicians run sleep screening, testing, and management programs that enable them to identify patients that are at a higher risk for sleep disorders.
Dr. Hedgecock is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM) and a diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. He has also achieved a diplomate status with the American Sleep and Breathing Academy.
Dr. Hedgecock loves living in Austin and enjoys attending concerts in the area, golfing, hiking, and snowboarding. He tries to read at least one book related to business, dentistry, sleep, or self-improvement every month. He also takes pleasure in leisure travel and attending various continuing education courses and conferences.
