Read moreAmy Elder holds a degree in Doctor of Physical Therapy. She has always loved anatomy and learning how the body works. Within her first few years of practice, she realized that her core interest lies in treating back and neck pain, which propelled her to become certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), a specialty certification focused on treating the spine.

During the recovery period, she took solace in writing a blog through which she shared her journey back to health. The blog became widely popular and made her realize she has a real knack for writing.
But since she was really missing treating patients, Amy spent a year volunteering her Physical Therapy services at the St. Petersburg Free Clinic in Florida.
