Read moreDr. Allison Dupont is an interventional cardiologist at Northside Hospital Cardiovascular Institute in the Metro Atlanta area. Her interests include preventative cardiology and invasive cardiology.
Dr. Dupont completed her internal medicine training as well as cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowship training from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She is board certified in both cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.
Dr. Dupont performs angioplasty/stenting procedures and structural heart interventions, such as Watchman implantation and MitraClip. She has a particular interest in improving outcomes in cardiogenic shock and has been the local principal investigator for the National Cardiogenic Shock Initiative, a nationwide study looking at methods for improving outcomes in patients with cardiogenic shock.
